About Us
About us
Marin Furniture Clinic was started in Marin in 1979 by James and Liddy Ingram, an English couple who moved here from London. They had previously run a well-known and established antique and restoration business in Chelsea.
The business was started single-handedly and gradually grew. Today, it is still relatively small. The business is operated by a team of just five, but the range of services offered is extensive.
● Antique Repair and Restoration
● Appraisals
● Cane, Rush and Wicker Repair and Replacement
● Furniture Stripping and Refinishing
● Porcelain and Ceramic Repair
We run the workshops personally on a full-time basis. Great respect is given to the pieces we work on. Since our founders had worked as appraisers and antique dealers, our knowledge is wide and professional.
